 Our mission: to produce the movie musical DOGS! Waiting to Be Loved, an uplifting film for a global audience that educates and encourages folks to adopt homeless dogs.


Even more importantly, by donating 15% of profits from the film, its soundtrack, merchandise, etc., we will create a recurring income stream for dog charities, including No-Kill shelters and groups involved in the rescue, adoption, and protection of dogs and the people they serve — vets, first responders, the disabled and the elderly.
 

By partnering with celebrities, organizations, select corporations, and individuals like you who are committed to helping dogs, we will create a grass roots movement to produce and promote the film and its ancillary markets for the benefit of dogs and the people they serve everywhere!

The film has a large, built-in fan base for many reasons, including:

It is “family-friendly” entertainment and intergenerational in appeal;

  • Marketing demographics show that both Millennials and Baby Boomers – the two largest consumer groups – are big spenders on their dogs;
  •  Our film is timeless and global – people all over the world love their dogs and will continue to do so;
  • Americans especially love their dogs; in 2020, $103.6 billion was spent on pets in the US alone!
  • We have devised a social media campaign to target the many dog-loving celebrities, dog organizations, pet food companies, etc. to sponsor, promote, publicize and pre-sell the film.
  • Although a film, DOGS! is easily adapted for the stage, and family-friendly musicals are among the longest-running and highest-grossing on Broadway (Cats, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast);
  • Other ancillary markets include soundtrack, TV spinoffs, and merchandising, among others.
  • Our “feel-good” project “walks the talk”: the current copyright holders have pledged that a percentage of fees/profits will be donated to no-kill shelters in perpetuity.
