DOGS! Waiting to Be Loved!

is a loving service dog to paraplegic vet Mark. But due to a tragic misunderstanding, they’ve become separated. Now depressed and confused; Angel is the only dog in the shelter who doesn’t want to be adopted, he just wants to go home!  

Many Pit Bull Terriers are abused for dog-fighting, and PENNY is such a dog. Dumped on a street corner bleeding, Penny wakes up in the shelter, relieved to have clean water, food, and her wounds stitched – and no one pushing her into a ring.  

 terribly misses his cop pals and his search and rescue missions as a K-9. He wants to go back to work, not “sit in a yard like a useless piece of junk,” so he ran away before he could be forced to retire. 

 Once a stunning, pampered French Poodle, FIFI is not so pretty anymore. Gray from age and blind from cataracts, Fifi fears she will never be loved again. Is everyone too blind to see her beautiful heart? 

 gruff yet kind, like everyone’s favorite coach, he keeps the other dogs in line. He considers the shelter his “forever” home and has no intention of leaving. “They’d be lost without me,” he insists, and he’s probably right!  

 Bought from an unethical pet store,  Mitzi contracted heart-worm, a condition her former owner said was “too expensive to treat.” So he dumped the scared little puppy at the shelter.

 is the only human who plays a significant role in the film because she is the one who helps the dogs through the shelter system to find their “forever home.” Vivian is a single woman in her late 20s-early 30s who appreciates dogs, as she recognizes that dogs give humans unconditional love. 

Vivian represents the dedicated volunteers everywhere who donate their time and energy to save every dog.
